Join us Saturday, May 18, 2024 for the 10th Annual Race for the Warrior at 1:00p.m., then stay for The Hubie Ashcraft Band concert from 3:30-7:30pm. An incredible event for an even greater cause, taking care of the men and women who defend our freedoms. Race for the Warrior supports the Northeast Indiana Base Community Council and their Military Support Fund. The race will take flight on the stroller friendly runways at the Fort Wayne International Airport. The Northeast Indiana Base Community Council is a nonprofit "member" organization with a 501c3 Military Support Fund established through the Greater Fort Wayne Community Foundation. The fund provides grants to Military Members (and their families) who live or serve in the eleven county area of Northeast Indiana during times of unexpected financial hardship. Taking care of the Service Member and his or her family allows the Service Member to focus on the mission. In addition to our Military Support Fund, we execute on our mission with other programs and activities related to workforce development, education, advocacy, and quality of life.
